Now might just be the time to buy your waterfront home on Grand Lake. We continue to see article after article showing home sales being greater than a year ago, new construction numbers up, and prices of homes being steady to higher. It sure likes like a bottom in real estate pricing to me. If you have been thinking about a waterfront retirement home or a family retreat waterfront home now might be the time to get a deal. Late summer when it is hot and the season is about 2/3 over is a great time to get a current waterfront home owner to just give someone a deal thinking their won?t sell until the next spring. You know what though, there is still 1/3 of the boating season left and your retreat on Grand Lake is a wonderful place to spend winter weekends just unwinding from life?s pressures. Enjoy a good book, a movie, dine out in wonderful places around the lake, and shop in the quaint shops. A lake retreat is fun year round. The last good point, interest rates are rock bottom low. They may stay this low another year, but someone soon they will go up as much as 3-4% pretty fast. Just think low bottom home price, record low interest rate, and chance to make memories with family and friends and have a good investment to boot. Sure seems like the time to me to think buying a waterfront home on Grand Lake. In might be getting to within months of when the last bargain on Grand Lake is available.
