Vice President Joe Biden, in his role as the most high-profile, aggressive Obama campaign surrogate, gets a new Twitter presence, the Obama campaign announced Monday. Tweets from the vice president himself will be signed "-Joe," just like tweets from President Obama are signed "-bo."
According to a campaign official, @JoeBiden was Biden's Twitter handle during the 2008 presidential primary ? but it was discontinued after he accepted the VP nod from Obama.
The official (and more staid) Office of Vice President Biden will remain @VP.
